About
My practice is rooted in painting as a site of return. Forms reappear, overlap, dissolve, and re-form, not as metaphors, but as living
presences shaped by daily experience, memory, and emotional residue.
I work within a recurring palette, allowing transformation to occur through gesture, density, and movement rather than chromatic novelty.
This limitation is deliberate, creating space for intensity, repetition, and gradual shifts to emerge.
The figures in my work often hover between human, animal, and vegetal states. They are not characters or symbols, but sentient forms,
carriers of sensation, vulnerability, and quiet persistence.
My paintings resist narrative closure. Instead, they invite prolonged looking, where meaning remains fluid and unresolved, shaped by the
viewer’s own pace and proximity.
